hello everyone or let's set the stage shall we?things are settling down right now so I'll have some time for this, I sure hope that some folks come back around 'cause I've got years worth of stories about the situation here in police state, florida. ahem, I mean Pensacola, Florida. anyone who's concerned about the direction the country is taking need look no further than this little city....pensacola, named I believe by the Spanish conquistadors who had freshly vanquished the entire Panzacola tribe that had previously occupied the area, was once a hotly contested piece of real estate. the spanish, french, british, confederate, and U.S. flags have all flown here at one time or another the point is that much of the bloodshed and twisted imperialism that florida has been acustomed to since 1492 has occurred right here in merry old p'cola. so anyways, I'd like to mention that this is one of the most naturally beautiful places on earth. unparalleled sugar white beaches kissing the gulf of mexico, wetlands once teaming with wildlife, swamps and forests rich in flora and fauna. of course the folks that run the show here now seem to have no appreciation whatsoever for the gift that is the pensacola bay area. they just build whatever, wherever, with no rhyme or reason to it, as everything flows through the "good ol' boy" network. so anything that happens is the result of palm greasing, or so and so's nephew needs a job. etc. etc. you get the picture. I've watched them destroy the area for more than a quarter century now. and compared to everywhere else that I've traveled or lived this has to be the least efficient operation going. back to the sugar white beaches, that's quartz crystal that's making such pretty sand. and that crystal is channeling an awful lot of energy into the mainland, hence the wetlands that are a cup running over with life of all varieties. all this energy is an extremly powerful source for one who wants to draw on it. i.e. our homegrown champions like Roy Jones Jr. and Derrick Brooks. in my personal experience the energy here has helped me to write a few albums worth of music and is an endless source for all my artistic pursuits. coupled with the humidity, the source will also keep you young. what a fool juan ponce de leon was. in all his questing to find the fountain of youth, it never occurred to him that florida is the fountain of youth. silly conquerors! so what we have here is a community that ultimately needs to be held in check, 'cause we sure don't want anyone to draw on too much energy and get too powerful that doesn't get along with the status quo now would we? christsakes, we could end up with some gifted folks doing all kinds of crazy witchcraft type shit. we better just nip it in the bud and build a million churches. and we're gonna need hundreds and hundreds of police and sherriffs deputies, and at least twice as many tasers as we have folks on the force. and guns, plenty of guns. and keep buying fast cars so we can have one on every block. and we'll dress our boys like para-military officers and soldiers in black no less. and we'll distribute tons of cocaine. and we'll systematically push the envelope of what we can get away with so that folks don't even notice that we're killing them. yes, I said killing, they do that here. most people don't notice or care...yet. you're welcome to go and check the stats on this shit. it's out there, sorry I'm not providing links, If I have time I'll see if I can find some. I just know that there is some alarming frequency with which our cowboy law enforcment, both county and city, has taken it upon themselves to shoot and kill people, most of whom were unarmed. anyway, shit's crazy here. before I go, I just want to say that there are still a handful of good cops here that are trying to do a tough job the right way, and they have my respect and allways have. wish I could say the same about 'em all.04:58 AM - May 23, 2008 - comments {3} - post commentthe disappointed disappear like they were never here...so I finished trucking school. got my cdl, class a license, and all that shit. and the state of florida has got my record all screwed up. in 1996 I was involved in an altercation at a convenience store where this cat I was hangin' out with gets into a fight with the clerk, and I ended up in the mix. picture this: it's 3am, you got a couple of drunk 22 year old dipshits and and even dipshittier cashier who, by the way, had been an asshole to all of us in the neighborhood for months, and was egging us on big time when the shit and the fan finally became one.....anyways, I copped a battery charge that I pled guilty too. but see in florida they always try to stick you with some heftier charge to begin with. so seeing as though in the chaos I had neglected to pay eight cents on a 3.08 total. the state's attorney saw fit to slap a "strong armed robbery" charge on there. I'm sure that the detectives that investigated the case had a little bit to do with that seeing as though they used the threat of such a charge to try to get me to rat out my buddy when they questioned me. but, enough about that. the point of all of this is how this bogus robbery charge appears on my background check for prospective employers. yes that's correct. a charge that I never was tried for much less convicted of is sitting pretty on my record. and for good measure it even says I did a month in jail. possibly a fabrication? at least complete ineptitude. so in the end it's costing me 150 bucks to get this expunged from my record. thanks florida for once again showing me an alternative to putting my cash in the fireplace and starting the next yule log with it. escambia county florida is a police state, period. just wait until I tell about my christmas '05 story. the one where the gestapo tased me in my living room. coming soon to a blog near you......in the mean time i'm trying to get on with this guy moving sod out of louisiana. I'm having to settle for what I can get since I got turned down by the major carriers because of the afformentioned bullshit. try as they might, those little bastards can't stop me. they aught not to be fuckin' around with a scots-irish cherokee of the taurean persuasion. I might think too hard and make 'em disapear or something. extremely costly on the karmic meter, but oh so tempting. speaking of disappearing.....like a ghost...poof,,,,03:52 AM - May 23, 2008 - comments {1} - post commentI'm still here....just slowso, I've been rather busy of late. I'm training to get a commercial driver's license, and that's eating up my time at the moment.I started this rather spontaneously, and I'm strapped for time at the moment, but eventually I've got some things to say and some stories to tell about our country's cultural war against itself. some of my friends who are no longer with us died as a result of said "war" and I would like to memorialize them along the way. who knows what else may come up? adios.... 02:58 AM - April 15, 2008 - comments {2} - post commentrest in peaceI decided to start this today as I am thinking about the recent passing of a friend. he was only 36 years old, and died of a heart attack.. I'll remember him as a warrior, brandishing a guitar and Marshall noise, using rock to spread peaceful revolution. and as a friend... may his soul be one with the great spirit....I love you Pat01:46 AM - March 31, 2008 - comments {4} - post commentPost A Comment!<%PostCommentPage%> |
